Dance Like No One's Watching - British Columbia

I called this commissioned painting “Dance Like No One's Watching” because once I finished it, the trees looked like they were peacefully groovin’ in their own secluded space at the base of the mountain. I loved creating this acrylic inks on paper…it just flowed out of me. In my mind, I got into the character of a Japanese calligrapher to create the very subtle misty mountain behind the more defined trees in the foreground. I felt 'less was more' and it worked 😊

no longer accept commissions. And because this was a commissioned painting, there are no prints, but you can browse my Art Gallery & Shop for available original paintings and prints.
