Art prints from the original acrylic inks on paper. A perfect crisp day around the bay. This is beautiful Brigus, Newfoundland, in the quiet season between its famous Blueberry Festival and bustling tourism summers. Between taking the reference photos and painting it in January 2016, both the boats and the fishing shed were removed. Glad I painted them when I did. The title of this painting was suggested by Shell Williams from "Name that Painting" on my Facebook page. She played off our traditional Newfoundland dessert - blueberry crisp.
