Art prints from the original painting by Newfoundland Artist Keli-Ann Pye-Beshara. My largest acrylic Cut-Out painting ever at 4’ x 14.5’. You can see the join of the two pieces of plywood along the shoreline of the Battery. For 8 days I painted this in public in the Delta Hotel lobby, downtown St. John’s, NL, in 2011. Click here to see the timelapse video we did of me painting this. The title is derived from my husband taking the reference photo from his Canon camera, standing on the historic cannon in the lower Battery. I combined two different times of the day in this piece - the sun setting on the left side Battery and night time on Fort Amherst side.
