I think this is the ONLY pet painting I've ever done! I accepted this commission from a friend who wanted to capture her dog “Owen” as he was (since he was getting up there in years). Shortly after finishing the acrylic on canvas piece c.2008, Owen passed away. The owner told me she was thrilled to have the painting of him after he was gone…reminded her of the good times they had together and his quirky personality.
